SAC
The Y works to ensure that youth not only have access to affordable, quality, before and after school programming but are also in a safe and nurturing environment protected by caring adults. Our before and after-school program provides a practical childcare option for families. Youths will receive homework assistance and participate in activities that keep them active and productive before school begins and when the school day ends.
Before School Care:
Drop off begins at 6:30am and care is provided until school start time.
After School Care:
Care begins at the end of the school day and is provided until 6:00pm.

Kid’s Day Out
The Family YMCA of Black Hawk County offers Kids Day Out for selected, scheduled, non-school days during the school year. The program fees below are in addition to the already scheduled weekly payments for Before and After School Care. All children must be enrolled prior to participate in our Kids Day Out Program. There are limited spots, so these are first come first served. During Kids Day Out the children will have opportunities for structured activities, reading time, recess, swimming/water play, community service projects, and field trips/special guests at The YMCA. The YMCA offers a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
Non-Member: $67/day Member: $57/day
Children do not need to be enrolled in our School Age Care program to attend our Kids Day Out Programs and any child in the Cedar Valley is welcome to register. For more information call the YMCA at 319-233-3531.
